道 Taoism [2m] — Rooted in my distant hometown of Tiantai, Taizhou, Taoist philosophy has deeply shaped the way I think and live: gentle subversion is a form of growth; true possibility begins in emptiness, and nothing needs to be held onto. This piece invites a meditative state, a quiet world of unfolding beauty. It shares a sense of calm and joy. Only by losing the sense of self can one be truly free.
Untitled 1 [3m52s]— A living organism that grows out of aimless exploration. It begins as a sparse sound field and slowly thickens, setting the scene for the free-jazz-like synth ensemble of the EP Untitled Nite, released under my alias VT.inno. The arpeggios and Auto Filter frequencies shift and breathe, carried by the low end's weight. Layers of melody and dull thuds drift around one another until rhythm itself loosens its hold, and the piece fades into an echo.
